Tufnol Composites set for EDS debut

11 September 2017

Birmingham based Tufnol Composites will be making its debut at the Engineering Design Show this coming October.

Visitors will be able to see Tufnol’s full range of traditional laminates and the company will be placing a special focus on its machining capabilities and high performance materials. These include carbon fibre, high temperature resistant and low-smoke, flame retardant products.

Roy Thomason, Managing Director of Tufnol Composites, said: “We’re looking forward to exhibiting at this year’s Engineering Design Show. This is the first time we’ll have taken part in the exhibition and will be showcasing our extensive product range, which is suitable for many different uses and applications, as well as sharing our knowledge and expertise.

“Our team will be on hand to discuss our products and to offer technical advice on a range of issues. It will also be good to meet up with our industry colleagues as well as existing and new customers on the day.”

Tufnol Composites has been manufacturing laminates in the UK for more than 80 years. Today thousands of new uses are still being created and the company works with leading brands such as Bombardier, London Underground, Rolls-Royce and Airbus.
