Exhibitor news: WPS positive after investment generates CEM wins

13 October 2017

Wilson Process Systems (WPS) believes that UK manufacturing must demonstrate its capabilities, quality and its value to customers to win contracts during and post-Brexit.

The CEM sector must leverage the positives that UK manufacturing offers customers and not rely on increasing build costs in the Far East, to drive potential customer decisions.

Steve Cooke, Sales Manager WPS stated. “We are constantly reviewing our technology investment and recently expanded our capabilities in terms of 3D automated optical inspection, selective soldering, as well as increased our surface mount capacity. Investment in people, equipment and logistical capabilities provides a persuasive WPS offer. We find that our customers need a professional, flexible and competitive UK based manufacturing solution.”

WPS is exhibiting at EDS 2017 – Stand K8, at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry on 18-19th October, and demonstrating its latest investment in high performance contract manufacturing capabilities. 2016 was a record year for WPS, with growth of 28 per cent, taking turnover to over £12 million.

WPS is offering opportunities to meet and discuss product development projects and demonstrate its capability to create value for customers through UK-based contract manufacturing.
